NOLA School of Music requires a credit or debit card on file for all students to cover our first lesson no-show fee and delinquent payments. By signing up for our monthly program, you agree to the following:


FIRST LESSON NO-SHOW FEE


If a client does not show up for their first lesson with no notice, NOLA School of Music will charge their card on file for the entire amount of their first lesson. We will follow up with the client and if we have not heard back within 48 hours, we will remove them from the schedule to prevent them from being charged for future lessons. This no-show fee only applies to a client's first lesson.


DELINQUENT PAYMENTS


NOLA School of Music reserves the right to charge your card on file for delinquent payments. We will never charge your card without consent for future lessons, only for past lessons that have been scheduled, whether or not they have been attended (see below).


Current Clients: If a client who is a part of our monthly program has not paid their invoice by the last day of the month, NOLA School of Music will charge their card on file for the complete monthly payment.


Former Clients: If a client quits our monthly program mid-month, their invoice will be prorated for the number of lessons that have passed on the date they ask to quit lessons. If they had not paid their prorated invoice by the last day of the month, NOLA School of Music will charge their card on file for the pro-rated monthly payment. We ask that clients who would like to quit lessons please contact us in writing to avoid any disputes.


Client Ghosting: If a client stops showing up to lessons and does not respond to any communication from us, NOLA School of Music reserves the right to automatically charge the client for up to a month of unattended lessons before removing the client from the schedule. We will respect any client's requests to quit our program, however we do ask that clients contact us in writing to avoid any disputes.


Keep in mind: Not attending a lesson does not warrant a refund or a discounted invoice, though clients are welcome to schedule makeup lessons for any lesson cancelled before 7 PM the evening before the lesson.
